Paint Cans can be disposed of if they have been left open and are completely dry.
If it is obvious at the time of pick up we will refuse to take the container.
If it is discovered at the time of emptying the container, the transfer facility may elect to take it.
If the facility elects not to take the prohibited item, it will be returned to you.
Not matter the outcome, us finding a prohibited item is going to cost you money in the form of rental extensions, unaccepted material charges, or hauling fees.
J. P. Waste does not have control over the prohibited item list. It is set forth by the facilities that we empty our containers at. In order to maintain a good working relationship with them, we do our best to make sure it is abided by. Please dispose of all materials properly.
